How do I find a work at home job?

I have to stay at home to take care of old, disabled relative. It is no longer possible to get along on what we get in social security and disability payments.
I can type, have printer.
I have looked on the net to find work at home jobs, but all I have found want payments for information to go to others places that require payments, etc.
If I had payments I probably would not need a job.
Please help.

One legitimate site for making good money with no risk and nothing required upfront is PeopleString!

Its publicly traded in the US but has members worldwide and it has a great business model: basically the company divides the money it makes on advertising up among its members so that it can attract more members and make more money. I’m doing it right now and it definitely works. It won’t make you rich, but it can provide a nice extra income for anybody with no effort.

If you want to try it, check out:

    Try it! Good luck!

Hi.. There are many ways to find a home-based job. If you know how to do some IT works then it’s a plus for you. Just search any freelancing or home-based works that is related to IT business. Don’t worry about time, some people lets you choose how many hours you may want to work.
No payment in searches. Short-term jobs. Average payment.

Also, if you know how to play piano. You might want to do home tutorials in which your students will be coming in your home and do some homework. Of course, you are their teacher. Your parents will even hear your music tutorials. By then, you get to teach while making your parents relaxed.
Some free mini-course and then minimal payments. No payment in searches. Long-term jobs. High payment.

    Hope it helps!
