You can also do a Google search for "telecommute transcription" for other possibilities. It is possible to do. Best of luck.

Hm well, I agree, most of the offers are all scams.
You could try selling stuff on ebay, once you get the hang of it you might be able to rake in a fair bit.
Also, you could start your own business and run it from home, aka start an online store/service, or something.
You could always try real estate? It might be hard to be home aaallll the time, but you could be home a fair bit?
