Is there any legitimate work from home computer jobs that you can find online?

Yes there are. I know someone who actually makes a nice living answering online surveys. She actually gets paid to answer them. I can't tell you where to sign up, cause she won't tell me. I have watched her filling them out and then a window comes and tells her what that survey pays. I watched her do 5 surveys in about an hour and a half. Two paid $100 ea. and two paid $75 ea. and one paid $45. She was mad about the low paying one. After these five she quit for a couple of days. Just as the other answer, be careful when you check them out. My friend says the legit ones will not ask for any money from you.

The company she does this for had her fill out an application and then did a background check. When they decided she was legit they sent her an email.

As she says if they want money from you, they're crooks.

Good luck.

Because so many 'work at home' opportunities are scams, frauds, or designed to make money – for the plan operators, not you – it's a good idea that before you invest time and especially money on any home-based business offers, you educate yourself on the different types of home work based schemes there are out there, and what to look for – and what to look out for – before making any commitment

The Federal Trade Commission offers several advisories about home-based business opportunities and network marketing (MLM) schemes. Here are a few:
