work from home jobs?
Hi. I have heard mixed reviews about 'work from home' or 'telecommuting' jobs. Some people swear by them and others say they don't exist. My issue is finding some good sites that want you to work from home and they don't want to charge you $200 to sign up to do it. It seems like each site charges a fee for you to get information about working from home. The fee they are charging does not guarantee a job, just information. Are there any out there that are legitimate jobs that don't charge you to work for them? I feel like I am wasting my experience. Jobs around here are hard to find right now. I was recently laid off and trying to help make ends meet. For the past 10 years I was a warehouse manager in charge of a department that ran 24/7. I can type 70wpm and I am not afraid of a challenge. so if anyone out there knows of any sites that would be good please let me know. Thanks so much for your help and have a great afternoon.
I work for Cloud10corp located at
www.cloud10corp.com
I get a biwkly paycheck by direct depost, had to show proof of citizenship, W-4, etc. and paid no fee to join.
They are hiring now, and if you are interested and apply, please let the interviewer know that Linda Reynolds referred you. I take inbound service calls that I was trained to take, with my computer…didn't need a landline, etc. Everything is set up through my PC (which did have to meet certain spec. listed on the site)
I work a steady shift which I chose to meet my convenience, 30 hours per week, and have support through a specific chat room to get help if there are questions I cannot answer. There are no benefits, other then referral bonuses at this time.
They are very nice to work for, and very helpful…pays are on time, and any announcements are through email or the employee portal (provided). There were no fees associated with this…I did have to purchase a usb headset for $30.
The work is pretty easy, there is paid training, and a period of "Nesting" where you get TONS of help and take only a few calls to help you get accustomed to taking calls…that is also paid. It's a great place to "work" no signup fee, nothing…this is legitimate.
Are all work from home jobs scams?
Are there any out there that have been reviewed by a reliable business mag or something?
I’m not looking for a way to get rich quick. I just need a few extra bucks monthly.
NO, They are all scams and spams.. its better to stay away…
Where can I find comparisons/reviews on home humidifiers?

I am planning to buy new home appliances, is there a website where they have reviews and ratings?
I am planning to buy new home appliances, is there a website where they have reviews and ratings?
A great place I always check is Amazon.com, but I believe that Target.com has some reviews as well.
Where can I find reviews for a home effects processor?
I want to find an affordable (300.00$ or less) home stereo effects processor, but all I can find are guitar sites and studio s— I don't need!!! Please help!
i use cnet.com to compare electronics, they have great reviews, each with a video review so you can see it. Ive used lots of sites like these, but this one is by far the most unbiased and useful site.
do you have a work from home job that you do from your computer?
i have looked all morning for a job on the computer. the problem is, all the ones i have reviewed want money to get started. or you have to fill out surveys to get started that wants money too for shipping and handling on the offers you have to fill out. is there any jobs out there that dont require any money up front, cause i am broke.
I've worked from home for the past year, and in that time I've learned quite a few things about working from home.
1)NEVER pay for anything up front. Any company that requires you to buy a "start up kit" or pay for anything is most likely not something you should get into. Having said that, there are a few legit companies that do charge for a standard background check (LiveOps is one of them), but never pay for information, etc.
2)Keep realistic expectations if you want to work from home. Know that you're not going to earn a 6-figure income working from home. You can make a decent living, but many of the people that I know that work from home maintain at least two jobs to keep a decent income
3)Do your homework. Always check out a work-at-home job using any resources possible. The Better Business Bureau and the FTC websites have a database of companies. Also, check out workplacelikehome.com, an online message board. The people there are awesome and there is a great deal of information about work at home job listings.
Also, check out wahm.com. They have a regularly-updated list of work at home jobs listings.
Having said that, here is a brief list of companies that are legit and hire from home. Keep in mind that these jobs are not for everyone, so check them out before you decide to invest your time and resources in them. Most of them require, at the least, a high-speed internet connection and landline home phone line.
West At Home Agent: http://www.workathomeagent.com
Process inbound sales and customer service calls for a variety of clients
LiveOps: http://www.liveops.com
Similar to West At Home. Requires $30 for a background check.
Alpine Access: http://www.alpineaccess.com
Good luck!!
Is there an easy way to make some money online? I will need them in a month and have time to work from home.?
A friend suggested me the googlepayload book, but I really don't know because I looked and found this:
http://www.squidoo.com/google_payload_info_review
Any opinion is welcomed. I will need the money in a month or so, so there is some time to decide or learn some things.
Thank you!
I have found a wonderful home-based business opportunity that is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, and has been in business for over 35 years. I have been working with this company for over two years. There is potential for multiple streams of income [ i.e. Bonuses, overrides, residual, and direct compensation]. They are nationally known and have been featured in popular magazines like Success from Home. I have been made aware of a promotion for the month of January 2008 in which new associates can have their start up fee reimbursed and receive a Palm TX (nearly a $400 value) by meeting specified requirements. They're looking for outgoing motivated, and goal oriented individuals. There is less than 2% market penetration nation wide, leaving the market wide open. Great training tools, one on one coaching, and a valuable and affordable service with little to no competition, make this home based business stand out from the rest. I'd like to get a real job I can work from home….any ideas?
I'm not looking at filling out surveys and that kind of stuff. I'm looking for editing jobs, consulting, writing, and reviewing materials like text books. I am moving to the caribbean and I would like to still do jobs that originate from the continental US. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
This site has a section for proofreaders and editors if that's what you mean. And the jobs originate out of the US. It's under the Find a VA job section.
I would like to work for an employer from home? Are there any LEGITIMATE jobs? I can't work outside my home.?
I have been without a job for 4 months and every "legitimate" review site ends up being another scam. It is hard enough being without work without also being taken advantage of by some creep that only wants to make money on other people's misery. I need to work!
Before you sign on the dotted line be sure you check to see if they are a rip off, or scam…
Can any one share their good/bad experience about "Work from Home" on line sites/ program to find genuine one?
I have seen many such programs and studied couple of reviews. Almost it is impossible to find the genuine program which will convert your time invested into money. Hence, posted this to to know the bottom line and to guide others too.
Hi ,you are very right with your concerns about online business these days…There are a million programs which try to convince you to buy all there products which does not produce any result.
I personally have spent around $1500-$2000 on various data entry, survey filling business etc..am not saying they don't result in making money but what we earn is not at all substantial..i made around $800-1100 from those but in 5months,which takes a lot of patience.I have very bad experiences and few good once personally.
Presently i am an affiliate of a program called Maverick, which i believe is the best i ever had till date.i had earned around $721 in 4days,which i feel is a gud start for me from the privious experiance with other programs. The is the site
www.maverickmoneymakingworld.com .
My adive for you is,dont go for it straightaway, just have a look on it,see the videos, once you feel its worth a try,and believe that it'll change your life completly, than go for it.
All the very best.
